Surgery Day

Yesterday was a rough one for my little man. The surgery was a success and the doctor said everything went fine but coming out of anesthesia is tough especially on a 3 year old! He did wonderful  though and the doctor informed us that he did not get a new peepee that he just "got his pencil sharpened!" Ha!
We spent the majority of the day in the hospital of course, but when we got home and he had something to eat he was back to himself. We sat on the couch and watched "How To Train Your Dragon" (which was cute) then Nana and Papa stopped by with some balloons and a Scooby Doo toy. Rupert was jumping off the walls at that point (he still couldn't feel anything below the belt). We passed out pretty early and slept late. I guess we were exhausted.... wonder why :)
He's doing great now though, just hurts to put vaseline on and pull his pants up.
So I guess since we are at home hanging out, maybe I should do some laundry and cleaning... hmmm... maybe.
